Alaa Alshaikh MBA, CII, EFQM, PMP

Alaa Alshaikh is a Managing Consultant and an Executive Strengths Coach with Gallup. Alaa leads the Middle East Consulting Team and is as a member of the MENA Executive Management Team. Since joining Gallup, Alaa has been leading several complex and prominent projects in the practice areas of Employee Engagement, leadership and management development, and strengths-based coaching and development.

At Gallup, Alaa also leads several Gallup accounts in the Middle East whereby his constant focus is to ensure that clients achieve maximum impact from their partnerships with Gallup.

Alaa is a seasoned Consultant, Entrepreneur and C-suite Executive with deep expertise in areas of Business Administration, Management, Leadership, Project Management, Corporate Turnarounds, Start-ups Development and Venture Capital.

Alaa has a proven track record across numerous industry sectors, including urban development, aviation, health care, education, consultancy services, f&b, food processing, automotive manufacturing, marine tourism and security, human capital training and development, insurance and technology.

Before joining Gallup, Alaa served as the founder and leader of several successful enterprises and served in several board of director roles across the GCC. Alaa also is an accomplished corporate trainer specializing in the areas of leadership, operations management, organizational competence and personnel development.

Alaa is an All American Scholar; following his earning of a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a summa cum laude and the Trustees’ Medal Award distinctions from Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida. He also served as an adjunct professor at Lynn University, when he earned his Masters degree of Business from the same university. He also holds, a Chartered Insurance Institute certification, a Project Management Professional certification and a Gallup Certified-Strength Coach certification.

Alaa served as a Board Member for Entrepreneur’s Organization (Bahrain Chapter) and delivered several prestigious public speaking engagements in both the Gulf Cooperation Council and Europe including one at the European Commission Headquarters in Brussels speaking on the changing economic paradigms of the GCC economies.
